My Students

My students attend school in an inner city Title I school district. Our school has had funds reduced every year, and this has taken a huge toll on everyone, students and teachers alike. I have purchased a lot of supplies on my own, but I need help with some of the other items that can be beneficial to my students.

We do a lot of hands-on learning in sixth grade, and having the right tools is crucial.

I would like my students to be able to experience things inside the classroom other than worksheets and videos.

Watching someone else do an experiment is not only boring, but the students get little, to nothing, from it. By donating to my class you are allowing my students to learn inside the classroom in an authentic experience. When they have fun, they remember things better and longer, creating lifelong learning.

My Project

Please help my students be successful by supplying them with basic supplies. Learning is so much fun when students can get their hands and body moving within the classroom. These supplies will enable them to create projects and do hands on activities.

I wouldn't be able to afford all these supplies on my own, so your donations are graciously appreciated.

Students not only learn better, but have a deeper understanding of what they are learning, when they can be active while learning.

Donating to this project will allow my students to have fun, communicate, and use their imaginations while learning.
