This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Here at our school we are family. As a small, Title I, urban charter school I get to know my students and their families well. I also have the honor of watching each of my students grow and blossom throughout the year.

My class of 15 students are hardworking, clever and creative fourth graders!

Our school provides them with most of the classroom supplies needed for the school year, but it can put a strain on our budget. Please consider donating to our school.

My Project

Our school provides school supplies for our community of low-income students. By this time of the year, many of our folders are ripped, markers are dried out and pencils are being lost quicker than they can be replaced. Our learning becomes strained while students search for the supplies needed to complete our learning tasks.

Our supplies need freshening up to finish out our 4th grade year strong!

With this project I will be able to supply my class of 15 students with 3 fresh folders, 4 brand new pencils, 1 new dry-erase marker and a pad post its. We use these supplies every day, in every subject, so the impact will be immense!
