Mrs. Anderson from Shreveport LA is requesting classroom basics through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
My students need various supplies such as folders for organization of materials, and Easel Pads and markers for advanced activities in the classroom.

When it comes to my students, to my kids, I simply want the best for them. Teaching at a lower income school, most of my students are faced with day to day struggles no child should ever have to face. My hope as a teacher is to provide not just a classroom for my students, but a sanctuary in which they can feel safe and free to learn and thrive in.
Whether it is basic supplies or the more extravagant activities, the last thing I want my students to worry about is having supplies.
Their only job I need them to do every single day is to come to school and to have an open mind. I want to ensure my students receive the best possible education and guidance all within the comfort of our classroom home, our sanctuary, without any worries.
DonorsChoose as already helped make so much of our sanctuary a reality and I only hope to continue to provide for my students the love and support they all deserve! Our sanctuary is always growing and improving thanks to Donors Choose and the hundreds of donors who show endless generosity and kindness.

Having folders will help in organizing and distributing our weekly and daily materials, and having page protectors and the ability to laminate our handouts will ensure they stay protected and usable for several lessons.
With access to various lesson manipulatives such as Easel Pads, markers, and highlighters, creating more engaging and fun lessons and activities will be effortless. Having these materials will help set a tone of organization and creativity in our classroom that will help lead my students to success!
