Supplies for Success

My students need an X-Acto pencil sharperner, pencils, and pencil pouches to finish the year off. As the school year is beginning to come to an end, our supply cabinet is running out of necessary supplies.

My Students

I have a wonderful group of 23 3rd grade students. We are a Title I funded school. About 95% of our school's population receives free or reduced-price lunch. Many students are a part of loving, yet low-income families, which places them at a disadvantage.

My students are eager and enthusiastic about learning, but they lack supplies and materials needed for common classroom activities.

My students have very few, if any, books of their own. They rely on our quaint classroom library to get their daily reading.

My students enjoy every chance they get to utilize technology as a gateway for learning. They set and attain multiple academic and behavioral goals throughout the course of each year. Technology plays a large role in their academic success within our classroom.

My Project

This project is full of goodies that we need to be successful for the remainder of the school year. A brand new pencil sharpener will allow for my students to have pencils to complete tasks, new pencils will ensure my students have something to write with, pencil pouches will ensure that my students have somewhere to store their pencils.

With our school being in a critical needs area, we lack many supplies that we need to complete every day tasks.

Each of these supplies will count towards my students' success this school year. Any leftover supplies will go towards my classroom next year!
