Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My classroom is a place where students are encouraged to think critically, collaborate, create, and express themselves—but to do all of that, they need the right tools. As we dive into writing, math, art, and group work, having access to simple supplies like dry erase markers, glue sticks, and crayons can make a big difference in how confident and prepared my fifth graders feel every day.

Many of my students come from low-income families who are doing their very best, but the cost of school supplies is simply out of reach for many.

Parents are struggling to make ends meet, and the ability to provide classroom materials often falls entirely on the teacher. With your support, I can ensure that every child in my class has access to basic learning tools like whiteboard erasers, skin tone crayons and colored pencils, wipes for cleanliness, and other essentials that promote organization, creativity, and inclusion.

These supplies aren’t just items—they’re opportunities. They help students feel seen, included, and equipped to succeed. Your donation sends a powerful message: that every child deserves to learn in a clean, well-stocked, and caring classroom. Thank you for believing in our students and investing in their future.
