My Project

In my classroom, student choice and comfort are crucial to creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment. Just as flexible seating allows students to take charge of where they learn, the right materials empower them to take charge of how they learn and express their knowledge.

My students come from diverse backgrounds, and many are from low socioeconomic households, which means that access to basic school supplies, such as printer paper, construction paper, ink, marble notebooks, and headphones, is often limited.

These essentials help ensure every child has the tools they need to engage meaningfully in their learning.

The printer paper and ink will be used to provide students with differentiated resources, printed writing projects, and visual supports for both academic and social-emotional growth. Construction paper will add color and creativity to our classroom, enhancing anchor charts, interactive notebooks, and student artwork. The marble notebooks will give each student a reliable space to organize their thoughts, record learning, reflect, and build pride in their progress. Finally, the headphones will support independent learning during digital programs, keeping students focused and minimizing distractions during small-group instruction.

When my students are equipped with these simple yet powerful tools, their engagement soars, their confidence grows, and their learning deepens. Your support will help ensure that every student in my classroom has the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their circumstances.
