Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach a bright, energetic group of kindergarteners who are eager to learn, explore, and create each day. Our classroom is a safe and joyful space where students begin their educational journey. Many of my students come from low-income households, and our school works hard to provide them with the tools they need to thrive.
In our classroom, we use a wide range of materials daily—from crayons for creative expression to composition notebooks for early writing skills, and dry-erase markers for hands-on learning at the board.
Unfortunately, many of our supplies are running low or need to be replaced.
I’m requesting essential supplies including:
Crayons and fat pencils for early writing and drawing, dry-erase markers, composition notebooks for journaling and practice, pencil pouches to keep student material organized and headphones for quiet, focused digital learning
These materials will help support daily instruction, classroom organization, and student independence. Having these tools on hand will allow me to provide engaging, high-quality lessons without interruption or delay.
