Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach middle school in a Title I school. These kids are the best and so excited to learn. Being a middle schooler comes with a lot of new and exciting challenges. Time on task is determined by age. It is estimated you get 3-5 minutes of attention per year of life in perfect conditions (no distractions, no friends, no games, no nothing). However, building in some room to wiggle can potentially help students focus. Organizers and calendars will help keep our classroom organized and extension cords will help use all our classroom technology.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

I can't wait to use these supplies to help those students that need a little something extra to focus and be successful in the classroom especially at my literacy table, where we are working hard every day!
