Supplies for Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports

Help me give my students fidget sensory toys, puzzle cubes, basketballs, and footballs to support student positive behaviors through our school's PBIS incentive program.

My Students

I have been an early childhood educator for 12 years and was the academic coach for kindergarten, first grade, and second grade. I am currently the inclusionary practices coach for kindergarten to grade 6.

Imaginative, creative, and loving are words to describe the students I work with.

My students love to play and interact with manipulatives. They love to use their imagination in order to build structures like castles and bridges with blocks and legos. They create crafts with random materials that are available in their classrooms. My students enjoy being outdoors, from finding ladybugs on bushes to running around our recess field. They love being in school as they often tell me how glad they are to be there as soon as their parents drop them off.

With your support, I would love to give my students the tools they need to feel safe and successful in school.

My Project

Our students will now be attending school face to face on a daily basis. However, due to COVID and distance learning, our students are in need of social emotional learning and positive behavior interventions and supports.

With fidget sensory toys and a variety of sport balls, our school will be able to provide them with an incentive for displaying positive behaviors in school.

In elementary, so many social and emotional skills are taught through active play. I'd like to be able to give our students the ability to interact and learn how to manage feelings appropriately, persevere, and other everyday SEL skills while still being safe in our classroom environment.
