My Students
My school has a variety of students, mostly students from low-income communities where the graduation rate is very low. Our students know more than they should because of the situations they go through on a daily basis. I work at a lactic school where we use technology to better engage our students. We believe that students should take ownership of their thinking and become independent problem solvers. Our students are hard-working, problem solvers, and independent thinkers who desperately need resources so that they can get motivated to grow and have a higher chance of striving toward success. These children are all capable of succeeding.
My Project
This project is so important because it'll save so much of my money that I keep spending on dry erase markers, boards, and dry erase markers. This project contains 'boogie boards' that comes with a pen that allows students to write on the board. The pens don't contain 'ink'. The pens write on the black part of the board and once the student is done writing on the board, the student can press the button and the board erases the entire board.
These boards are very easy to use, practical, saves me SO much money (I feel that I'm constantly running out of dry erase markers!), and so easy to store!
