My Project
My 5th-grade DLI students are English learners from low-income families who are eager to learn and thrive despite challenges. They are hardworking, creative, and curious, making every effort worthwhile. These supplies will help us create hands-on learning experiences that foster deeper understanding and make learning memorable. From colorful art materials for projects about ecosystems to science kits for exploring the solar system, each item will support their growth and spark their curiosity.
These resources will transform our classroom into a hub of discovery.
Students will use graphic organizers and writing tools to improve their literacy skills, while math manipulatives will strengthen their problem-solving abilities. STEM kits will encourage teamwork and critical thinking, preparing them to tackle real-world challenges with confidence. These experiences will help them develop essential skills and create memories that last a lifetime.
