My Project
This year I am teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th grade math. By the end of the year, I want all of my students to be achieving at or above grade level and to have grown to be more confident, self-motivated learners.
I work in a small school in a large urban district, and as a result, we're often lacking resources.
My students work hard every day and deserve to have the resources they need to learn best. I'm requesting two specific supplies for this school year - glue sticks and Lysol wipes. My students use glue sticks for their math notebooks almost every day. This is helpful when taking notes on a concept like graphing and students cannot just draw it into their notebooks. We also need Lysol wipes, to clean the classroom tables after activities that require glue or cutting, and just generally for the pencil marks and eraser debris that collect over the school day from multiple classes. Having these two supplies would help us tremendously this school year!
