Help me give my students supplies for learning Literacy skills! The whiteboards and magnetic letters will allow my students to build their literacy skills during our small group rotations. The other supplies will help store and prep lessons!
My students come into school with a heart of gold. For many, it is their first learning experience and they are so excited and soak up all the learning. Many, however, come from backgrounds of trauma and varying levels of SES.
Our school has close to 70% free and reduced-price lunch; therefore, classroom supplies sometimes are the last things on parents' minds.
Please help support us to create a classroom environment that is well organized so that they can feel calm, safe, and secure.
My Project
These materials will have a great impact on my students' literacy skills development. We will use these materials weekly and from the beginning to the end of the year.
Students will be able to use the letters to learn the alphabet to then learn how to build CVC words, to then building more difficult words.
They will build these on the whiteboards and then be able to write them.
The other supplies will help to clean up the boards and allow me to prep and store supplies used to teach early literacy skills. Being able to laminate the materials will allow me to keep them for years to come!
