Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are the most amazing students. They love working with each other and learning new things. I enjoy coming into the classroom where my students love to learn and be with each other.
We are an urban school in Nevada.
We are a Title I school where we receive free breakfast and lunch for our students.
Many of our students are English Language Learners. We are a great community, where the parents are really involved with the school. The teachers are committed to helping our students achieve their academic goals.
My Project
The resources will help the Kindergarten to help them to learn to read and write. They will be able to have their own supplies and learn their letters, names and sounds as well as sight words.
They will the journals to learn how to write narratives, opinion and informative pieces.
I will be able to create books to help them to learn to read to get them ahead in Kindergarten and do their best in the ELA standards by the end of the year! It will help in the best way possible!
