Supplies for Keeping Equity at the Center of Our Classroom
Help me give my students resources to tap into THEIR different learning styles and modalities. Whiteboards, Markers, Scissors, Sponges all provide students differentiated supports in academic and social-emotional learning.
Second grade is such an amazing and dynamic time for students. We are just getting off the ground with reading and continue to further develop our literacy. As a first-year teacher, I want to ensure that I am providing an optimal learning environment to continue my students' success.
My students are a loving group of 2nd Graders attending a Title I school in the heart of San Francisco.
They are resilient students, who love to learn, and come to school every day...ready for any challenge!
My Project
Our classroom needs your help!! In order to continue differentiating instruction and meeting students where they are at, our class is asking for some help in getting some supplies.
Tapping into different learning styles and modalities is essential to keeping equity at the center of our classroom.
Whiteboards and markers for visual and kinesthetic learners. Clipboards to work in flexible spots. Silicone sponges to fill out our awesome peace corner. And a mailbox to keep all of our projects organized. All of these will make a world of difference to my students and help me meet all of their needs!
