Supplies for FIRST Robotics Competition Team

My Students

If you entered my classroom you would see students working cooperatively to learn new content. My goal by the end of the year is for my students to be strong in physics concepts. One way to do this is to provide projects that allow them to apply and show off what they're learned.

The residents of our town are hardworking people who expect its teachers to be the same.

My school is an older building in need of a technological overhaul. We currently don't have the funding for everything we would like to do.

My Project

FIRST Robotics Competition provides an avenue for students to learn and work side-by-side with engineers, helping them gain real world experience and apply the knowledge and concepts they learn in class. This program exposes our students to design and manufacturing skills. The requested items will help them create their ideas effectively and safely.

The DeWalt saw is a safe means for cutting aluminum and other materials needed for the robot, while the mister and regulator will allow our router safely cut out the ideas our students have in their minds.

A team can build the best robot ever, but it is only as good as its programming. The webcams will allow the team to program vision operating systems as well as drive remotely when vision is impaired.
