Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our expanding competitive engineering programming has expanded our students' creativity and engineering ambitions. They set high standards for their competitive build quality.
We would like to expand our shop's capabilities for our students to build and compete with the robots they design.
During our prototyping phase our team breaks into several groups to find the best idea possible. A lot of material is used during prototyping, and we want to give our students all the material they to prototype their concepts effectively. Help our students achieve their goals and give them the tools and resources that our shop currently can greatly benefit from.
We will work as a team, meeting challenges creatively and collaboratively, all while using science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) related skills.
We would have applied engineering, science, math, and technology to solve complex, open-ended problems in a real-world context, all while developing highly transferable skills in collaboration, communication, and critical thinking, which are relevant for STEM careers. Please help provide resources that can help us become the next generation of STEM professionals. We would be actively promoting STEM within our community starting in our own high school now with the ability to document our activities and progress.
