This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are preparing to graduate and transition into the adult world. Over the past year and a half, COVID-19 has impacted their learning by impeding their social-emotional development and limiting their opportunities to participate in real-world experiences outside of their home. Within my career exploration program, my goal is to help my students develop the skills necessary to overcome the obstacles and challenges that they will encounter as they prepare to enter their careers and community as adults. The resources I requested will support my students' social-emotional learning by enabling them to participate in an on-campus simulated work environment.
