Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are curious, motivated and thoughtful learners! The majority are ENLs and special need students from low-income families who come into our classrooms every day with the eagerness of becoming feature leaders, scientists, artists, etc.

They are big dreamers and believe that they can make a difference and achieve their goals if the support and the opportunity are given to them.

They love to read, write and draw, do math, and do hands-on and movement activities!

The majority of my students are English language learners and students with disabilities, who require exposures to the best educational experiences; therefore, hands-on and realia are a must in my classroom. Many of my students struggle to understand and grasp concepts and they need to be exposed to visual and concrete samples for them to get it.

Each student in my classroom is unique and it is my responsibility as their teacher to find the best and most effective way to help them achieve their potential. Every donation makes a difference in my students' lives. I look forward to creating projects that will make our classroom a joyful learning environment.

My Project

Providing my students with the materials and resources they need to learn and thrive, will make them feel more confident and secure in their learning experience. When they come to school and don't have the supplies that they need, it interferes with learning and achieving our educational goals. With the proper materials, my students will be prepared to learn! You can give these students the tools they need to learn and the opportunity to grow as individuals by increasing their confidence. Help me create a learning environment where all students have access to the supplies they need. They will be able to write and draw beautiful pictures with the materials in this project. I am also asking for basic school supplies such as pencils, crayons, erasers, and markers to help create a learning experience for my students that ensures success.
