Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach second grade at a two-way immersion school where both native Spanish speakers and native English speakers come together to learn a new language from one another. Our sweet, bilingual students are hardworking, kind, and a joy to teach. I am so proud to be their teacher!

These resources will supply my students with the materials we need to start the year strong!

Many of the materials I am requesting are basic classroom supplies that will be used throughout the whole school year. I am requesting sturdy, plastic folders that we will use throughout the year, as well as dry-erase markers for students to use during lessons. I am also requesting white and colored cardstock so that I can create materials for my students, as well as math materials, to teach place value and money. Finally, I have requested "Calm Strips" and Individual packages of Kleenex for students to use at their desks during our school day. All of these requested materials will be used immediately to help us have a great start to the school year!
