This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach second grade at a two-way immersion school where both native Spanish speakers and native English speakers come together to learn a new language from one another. Our sweet, bilingual students are hardworking, kind, and a joy to teach. I am so proud to be their teacher!

These resources will supply my students with the materials we need to start the year strong!

Many of the materials I am requesting are basic classroom supplies that will be used throughout the whole school year. Items, such as Kleenex and water bottles will help support students' physical needs during the school day. I am requesting adhesive vinyl in order to label the students' water bottles and lockers. I am also requesting sturdy, plastic folders that we will use throughout the year. Finally, I am requesting a teacher planner to help me stay organized and well-planned throughout the year. All of these requested materials will be used immediately to help us have a great start to the school year!
