My Students

In our classroom, we spend a lot of time creating charts to show our learning, make quick references, and even share our learning with the rest of the school. Students take an avid role in this job and get a great sense of accomplishment as we hang them on our walls and in the hallway!

Our classroom is full of 15 rowdy first graders who are more than ready to learn all that the world has to offer.

They are continually seeking out opportunities to learn and love to be involved in the process. Many of my students have not been given this chance and they grow so quickly once given the chance.

My Project

I am requesting a store and display teaching cart. This cart paper stand not only will hold our chart paper that we use to create our many posters, but it also has bins to store the necessary materials that my students use on a daily basis, such as math manipulatives, writing tools, etc. This stand will give my students a chance to be engaged in our chart making process as well as giving us a place to store the materials we use everyday.

Donations to this project will give my students a fun and functional way to learn.

Not only will I be able to use the chart paper in many lessons, but my students will also be able to participate in both the creation of these charts as well as dispersing the necessary materials.
