This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I'm preparing for an exciting year of learning, growth, and creativity with my second graders!

To give them the best start—and a memorable finish—we need a few essential supplies.

At the beginning of the year, students will use: Eraser tops to keep their pencils going strong through all their writing and math practice. A pair of Fiskars scissors to help them cut safely and confidently during craft and classroom activities. Multicolored construction paper to brighten our lessons and hands-on learning moments. Glue sticks to make all our interactive projects stick together smoothly.

Then, at the end of the year, we’ll celebrate everything we’ve learned with fun arts and crafts projects using acrylic paint pens—perfect for decorating keepsakes and adding colorful, creative flair to their final work.

These supplies will support students from day one all the way to the last celebration. With your support, we can start strong and end on a high note full of imagination and joy!
