Save our Creative Minds! As most students of today, my students are tested entirely too often. I want to continue to encourage their creativity by creating a writers workshop space in our classroom for my students to write stories and share ideas with each other.
My students are third graders who are energetic, creative, and motivated to write their own stories.
They love listening to music and writing stories about things they have experienced or imagined. They need more supplies for our writer's workshop center and the ones we chose will be so perfect if our project is funded!!
My Project
Students will use the colored pencils to create illustrations, the construction paper to make the cover pages, the hole punch and scissors to add those finishing touches to their very own published story! Students will have a special read aloud ceremony to celebrate their hard work and dedication to writer's workshop! This will truly spark their creativity and they will enjoy using all of these supplies!
My students love writing and illustrating their own stories and if we were to add these supplies to our classroom I know it will motivate them to publish their own books.
