My Project

My students are creative individuals who love to challenge themselves in AP, Concurrent, and Honors classes. I love how my kids engage with literature and often end up teaching me just as much as I teach them. Many of my students are seniors, and I am confident that by the time they graduate they are going to make a positive impact on the world.

These supplies will allow students to make professional presentations, create blackout poetry, and design posters and projects that are engaging and informative.

My students practice giving graduation speeches as well as give formal social issue presentations. Having the rolling cart to act as a sort of podium will help my students be more professional and have somewhere to set their notes. It will also help my more nervous students feel like they have something to hold onto. The doc cam will help me to model things like annotation or how to do blackout poetry. The table cloth will help when I create a realistic tea party for my Importance of Being Ernest Unit where my students dress up and learn proper etiquette. Trashketball will help with ACT review, and all other supplies will be used to create engaging projects such as body bios and immigration posters. Ultimately all of these supplies will allow my students to continue to grow academically.
