My students need to see positive models of writing in order to improve. That would become a lot easier if I had the document camera to show them what my paper looks like during the writing process. Students would be able to then follow my modeling to create their own positive writing. I want my students to have the skills they need to be successful. Another skill that my students need besides writing well is the ability to speak well. As such, I would like to have the Stand Up Desk available for them to use as a podium when giving speeches. This will give them a place to put their papers, and hopefully something to hold onto if they get a little nervous about public speaking.
