This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I absolutely love my students for their curiosity, creativity, and enthusiasm. They bring such energy and excitement to the classroom every day, always eager to learn and grow. Each one is unique, with their own strengths and challenges, and it's incredible to watch them thrive when they have the tools and environment that support their success.
The items I'm requesting will make a huge difference in their learning experience.
The wipes will ensure a clean and safe environment for them to thrive in, especially with the ongoing need for hygiene in classrooms. Pencils, erasers, pens, and markers are essential for everyday work and creativity, helping students engage in their assignments and express their ideas freely. Baskets will help keep everything neat and accessible, promoting a sense of responsibility and order in the classroom.
The pillow, cozy chair for the library, and table lamps for reading will create a comfortable and inviting space for students to dive into their books and engage in independent reading. The rug will not only make the room feel more welcoming, but it will also serve as a space for group activities and collaborative learning, encouraging teamwork and interaction.
My goal for this project is to create a classroom that is a place where students feel comfortable, motivated, and inspired. I want them to have the resources they need to succeed while also fostering a love for learning that extends beyond the walls of the classroom.
What makes my students special is their resilience and determination. Many of them come from diverse backgrounds and face challenges, but they always show up with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. With the right tools, I know they can reach their full potential and continue to grow into the leaders and innovators of tomorrow.
