Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The amazing effort and positive attitudes demonstrated by my students over the past five weeks have warmed my heart and made me optimistic for the rest of the school year. I would love to acknowledge their wonderful work with a few classroom materials and snacks for use throughout the school year.

Every day we remind our MP Lions to ROAR, which means to show Respect, Outreach, Achievement, and Responsibility with each decision they make.

ROAR is highly implemented throughout the campus in accompaniment with our SEL lessons. When students show these traits, they are rewarded points to purchase items like snacks, candy, supplies, games, etc. These snacks and candy will be contributed to my classroom store.

Student supplies such as calculators and whiteboards will support 75 students with their math curriculum for the 2022-2023 school year, as well as more students in years to come.
