Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Learning is easier when students have what they need, when they need it. This project will help stock our classroom with basic supplies, hands-on math tools, afternoon snacks, and storage to keep everything organized and accessible.
Classroom essentials such as pencils, glue sticks, markers, and dry-erase tools are used every day for writing, group work, and creative learning.
With added storage containers, students will be able to find materials quickly and return them easily. This helps our classroom stay calm, organized, and focused throughout the day.
To support small group math instruction, this project includes the Learning Resources Skill Builders! Multiplication Quiz Wheel, Math Fidget Toy, Number Flash Cards, and Math Fidget Spinner. These fun and engaging tools help students build fluency in core math skills through movement, visuals, and play.
In addition, afternoon snacks will help students stay focused and energized, especially during the later part of the day. Some students arrive at school without extra food, and having a small snack can make a big difference in their ability to concentrate and stay engaged.
