This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many students face financial barriers that prevent them from having the basic tools they need for school, including something as essential as a backpack. This project aims to provide backpacks filled with school supplies so that every student can come to class prepared, confident, and ready to learn. By assisting students with their basic needs, we create a more focused learning environment where students can thrive. In addition to school supplies, this project includes a selection of board games and coloring books for students to use during free time. These games aren’t just for fun; they help students build social skills like teamwork, patience, and problem-solving in a low-pressure setting. Board games offer a healthy way to unwind, connect with classmates, and recharge for learning. To keep our games organized and accessible, we’ve also included a bookshelf in this project.
