Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Summer is over and I want my fresh group of students ready to learn the minute they walk into my classroom! I work hard to ensure my students have amazing learning experiences.

I want my students to feel as if our classroom is a second home to them where they can be comfortable and safe.

This year, as I return to the classroom after a short hiatus, I will be teaching 7th AND 11th grade history students. Many of my students are on free/reduced price meal plans and at times come unprepared to learn with basics. Sometimes, they need a little bit extra.

My Project

These materials will help my students with organization and will supply them with tools necessary to succeed in the classroom and will allow students to have diverse learning experiences using their voices.

I would love to engage my students in learning 21st century skills with these supplies and technology, including creating a podcast which would enhance their speaking, listening, and collaboration skills to meet common core standards!

In addition, I plan to use the supplies for basic day to day needs of students such as notebook organization, arts and crafts projects, and stations activities, etc. Students will greatly benefit from these items!
