Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students come from various backgrounds and are from low income families. My students all have various levels of proficiency in math. The majority of my students are multi-sensory learners. They learn best when they receive small group instruction.
The resources would provide students the materials to focus on various mathematical topics contained in the curriculum.
My Project
My students are fifth and sixth grade students. They are all diverse learners. They all have unique learning styles. They love mathematical content that is interactive as they are actively engaged.
The gift cards will help bring engaging supplemental resources to my students.
There are many resources on Teachers Pay Teachers that are engaging and provide students the ability to demonstrate mastery of a skill. Flexibility in demonstration of mastery benefits my students tremendously as they do not all learn the same way. The resources purchased will engage all of the students to gain mastery of various math skills,
