My Project
These supplies will help ease science learning throughout my classes. This year, I am teaching five 9th Grade Physical Science classes at the largest high school in Philadelphia. Our school's 3,600 students come from diverse linguistic and socioeconomic backgrounds -- over 50 home languages are spoken at NEHS and 100% of our student body qualifies for free lunch.
As I progress in my teaching career, I recognize that there are much-needed supplies that my classroom has yet to have.
These supplies would equip my classroom with calculators, a periodic table, density lab kit, reference books, and a power outlet surge protector. With these resources, my students will be able to readily engage with our forces, energy, matter, and periodic table units.
