My Project
Within our self-contained classroom of 1st and 2nd grade students with autism, there are many different academic levels. For most of these students, the general education (provided) curriculum does not meet their needs. Therefore, we must supplement the curriculum with materials that are a better fit.
Unfortunately, the burden falls on the teacher to find and pay for these materials.
One of the best places to find hands-on and colorful learning materials is Teachers Pay Teachers. The use of these supplementary materials helps my students because I am able to create lessons that meet their needs.
