My Students

I have a very enthusiastic bunch of second graders who are eager to learn, but a lot of them do not have the financial support it takes to provide learning materials for home or in the classroom. A lot of them have not had the luxury of certain real life experiences and it is my job every day to bring learning to life for them.

My students love to learn and read and are excited to come to school every day to do just that.

My Project

How can I be successful if I don't have the proper materials?

Many of my students come to school every day with no pencils or supplies they need to complete the day.

The materials I have chosen will help students with collaboration and engagement. It will also help to keep our classroom stocked with the basic essential items that we need to function every day.

They will be able to complete small group activities as well as whole group activities with the white boards and sheet covers. We will have enough markers to use, even when a student happens to lose theirs. Having the erasers will save time on us having to get paper towels or bring socks from home.
