This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
This year I am teaching technology! I am teaching classes from PK-5th. While I'm teaching an array of grades, most of the classes are from PK-5th Grade. The majority of the students in the school are Hispanic/Latino and many of them speak in Spanish when they are at home.
This year majority of our students are joining classes remotely from their houses to stay safe through this epidemic we are in.
With economic disadvantages, all students are receiving both breakfast and lunch in school.
My Project
Having a split screen setup will allow me to hold live-virtual instruction seamlessly. Having one screen, limits my interaction with my entire class. Two screens will allow me to share my screen and view my class simultaneously. With two screens, this issue is resolved.
The LG Wide Screen monitor will allow me to share my screen and model lessons through a multitude of platforms.
Having a dual screen will enable me to prepare my lessons more efficiently. I can view several windows at once rather than wasting precious time going from tab to tab. The HDMI cable will allow me to connect the second monitor to my device.
A dual screen setup will allow my students to have a more enriched virtual learning environment.
