Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Lively, energetic, and kind are three words I would use to describe our young learners. Every day, they do their best to achieve all that they can. Our students desperately want to be actively involved in what they do in the classroom.

Living in a large city can be difficult for many young children.

My young learners live close to the downtown area in our city. They go to a Title I school, where all students receive free breakfast and lunch daily. Their basic food needs, except for dinner, are taken care of, but now they need something to sustain their minds.

My Project

Students learn in many ways. The modalities of learning vary from child to child.

As a teacher, it is my responsibility to make sure the needs of each child are met.

Scholastic SuperScience is a way to reach students using Literature that will be of interest to them. These subscriptions present information to students in real-life situations. They will experience issues through the lens of others in their age group. Not only will students be reading in the magazine, but they will have the opportunity to explore online and conduct experiments as well.

The benefits of Scholastic SuperScience will last a lifetime for my students.
