My Students
Some of the best sixth-grade students in the world are preparing for their future by increasing their skills in coding and STEAM in Orem. These students are ready to be at school doing hands-on projects where they can collaborate and use their critical thinking skills in partnerships and teams.
My Project
COVID-19 forced students to online learning at home and this has led to decreased skills in collaboration, problem-solving, and hands-on application of what they have learned.
I would like to provide students with engaging opportunities that apply the coding skills they are currently learning and discover possibilities for their future education and career.
The LEGO Education SPIKE Prime Set would be a great way to learn/practice the coding skills they are currently learning while working in partnerships. The activities involve critical thinking and provide opportunities to solve complex problems using creativity and innovation.
