My Students

The beginning of the school year is always new and exciting. New school supplies also bring that excitement. Each year school begins, and I purchase some supplies for my students. The school system also purchases supplies.

Sometimes my students bring their own supplies.

My students are generally from low-income families. Sometimes they are able to purchase supplies, and sometimes they are not. My students are anxious to learn and appreciate of what they learn as well as what they receive.

My Project

It may seem simple, but every little bit helps. Any supplies that the school, my students, or myself are not able to buy are still needed. My students need everyday supplies, such as scissors; construction paper; crayons; and markers. Having extra pairs of scissors instead of pairs of students having to share scissors drastically changes the way a lesson plays out.

Donations to this project will impact classroom learning on a daily basis.

Students will always need crayons to draw and scissors to cut and baskets to turn in their homework. By supporting this project, you make my job as an educator just a little bit simpler as these simple supplies are super important to the daily instruction that takes place in a classroom.
