Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you remember going shopping for your school supplies? The excitement to begin school and use your new colors and paper was overwhelming.

The children I teach are very economically disadvantaged.

The majority of them will have little or no school supplies. As the year progresses, most children run out of supplies and depend on others. They are excited to learn and are always eager to attend school despite their home circumstances.

My Project

I hope for my student's to have amble new school supplies to complete various learning activities. During "Independent Station Time" the children will be completing reading activities the require the use of markers, colors and various types of paper such as index cards and colored paper. As students do projects on the stories they read the pens and colors will enhance the presentation of their work. The paper and the various pencils will allow the children to draw and reflect in their science lab journals what they learned. No child will have to be concerned with not having supplies to do their best work.

If you love to see children do colorful and engaging work then this is the project for you.

Children love to be creative while they are learning. With your kind help colorful and fun learning can take place all year long. Your donation will provide much needed supplies. Go ahead and take a chance on a great bunch of children.
