Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My school tries to provide students with a rigorous and exciting educational experience. We believe that all students have the potential to succeed when given the right resources.
My students are creative and hard-working but often do not have access to all the educational materials they want and need.
Of the 26 students in my class, 22 are English language learners and three receive special education services. Most of my students are performing below grade level but that does not discourage them and they consistently try their best to succeed.
My Project
I teach 26 students in a rather small classroom. One problem we always have is finding storage space! Having several sets of drawers and various containers not only takes up too much space, but also makes it difficult for students to find every day supplies, and even harder to remember where to put them back! As a result, supplies are often lost or never returned.
This storage unit with clear bins will help my students stay organized and have easy access to every day materials.
With the clear bins on this storage unit, my students will be able to find and return supplies very quickly and easily, which saves time throughout the day! No more rummaging through random boxes and bins to find what they're looking for!
