My Students

I am lucky enough to teach some of the most amazing third graders. Our school is in a rapidly growing area. Many students come from middle-class families with working parents. As a Leader in Me school, we work hard to ensure that the students learn to live the 7 Habits and have a Growth Mindset. This means, as a school, we work collaboratively to reach the needs of each student and help each student be confident in who they are and their abilities.

My students love school, are eager to learn and grow, and are full of questions.

Third grade is an amazing grade full of new concepts, especially in math they have never seen before. This presents a challenge to many students. My kiddos have a wide variety of academic needs and goals. Small group instruction is important to make sure each of the students are able to get the specific help they need to master these new concepts. Our district's goal is to help students reach their academic goals, every student every day!

My Project

Everyone deserves a chance to learn and enjoy school. One way to do that is by working collaboratively with others. Working in small groups is a great way to help students get individualized attention they need to succeed.

Having fun and colorful stools in our classroom will give our classroom a bright pop of color while they are working with their peers on assignments.

Collaborative learning is a great way for students to be leaders and help others. It also gives students a chance to learn from their peers and make friends in our class. Students have a chance to learn and grow.
