Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our school is a Title 1 school, which means that the majority of our students qualify for free and reduced lunch. Our students may also have fewer opportunities at home to complete STEM type activities. In our Media Center, it is my goal to help build background knowledge, provide STEM activities, and support positive behavior initiatives.
Our Makerspace helps fill many of these needs, however, we need comfortable seating for students to work.
I am requesting support in providing stools for students to use in our makerspace area. Help me ignite imaginations!
