My 18 pre-students and I were so excited to receive their new learning toys. They especially loved the people connectors and the farm animals. I have been working in small groups with non-speaking English students to teach them valuable communication and language skills to help them be successful in their schooling and everyday life. The soft farm animals provided the perfect way for them to practice these skills in a fun and engaging way. The people connectors proved challenging at the start, but with practice and perseverance they gradually learned to use their fine motor skills to connect the pieces.
