My Project

I am lucky enough to get to work with 75 different 5th-grade students during their science time every day. One of the main challenges we face is finding grade-level appropriate texts that are of high interest.

SuperSTEM is a magazine that students will be able to read "cover to cover" during one class period and most importantly, they will teach science and STEM concepts.

SuperSTEM is a great magazine that not only teaches science/STEM-related material but it can enhance learning for other subject areas like social studies, writing, and of course reading.

My homeroom students will even be able to take these magazines home with them after each of my three science classes gets to read through them. They will find this very exciting. I can just see them sharing with their family all the fascinating facts found in them!
