My Students
Our STEM school is a true neighborhood school! Most of our students walk to and from school each day. Our school feels like a huge family helping each other through the challenges that we face.
The majority of students in the school are eligible for free or reduced-priced meals.
We are in need of supplies to enrich their educational experience and nourish their enthusiasm for learning. Our 4th grade class is full of students that will be truly appreciative of your generosity.
My Project
Now that our students are using their Chromebooks more than ever before, it is important to give them the flexibility to sit or stand while using their devices. Desks that can be adjusted throughout the day will better serve our students as they discover how they learn best. More traditional standing desks are wonderful but don't bring the Chromebooks close enough to students for them to type comfortably. These desks will allow students to access their devices without being limited to a seated position. Standing while learning works so much better for so many of our students.
