My Project

This upcoming school year, I have the privilege of continuing to work with my class as they move onto the 4th grade! Looping with them has given great insight into the books and series that students love even before the school year has begun! There is an immense love of reading in the class that I work to grow throughout the year. One way I do this is by giving kids ownership over our classroom library.

By providing students with texts that they have requested and expressed interest in themselves, kids are more excited and motivated to read.

Whenever I try to add knew books to our library, they don't even make it to the shelves! In supporting this project, you are supporting my students' love of reading.

This project also includes supplies for our cherished class guinea pig, Spice! Students love to help feed him, give him treats, and make sure he is comfortable and happy.
