Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach second grade at a two-way immersion school where both native Spanish speakers and native English speakers come together to learn a new language from one another. Our sweet, bilingual students are hardworking, kind, and a joy to teach. I am so proud to be their teacher!
These resources will supply my students with the materials we need to form an organized, clean learning environment!
The materials I am requesting will help students and myself organize and clean our classroom. I am requesting seat sacks for students to store their materials at their desks. I am also requesting paper towels to help keep our room clean, and bulletin board borders to make it look warm and welcoming. Finally, I am requesting whiteboard markers for students to use to demonstrate their learning. These classroom supplies will set us up for a strong start and will be used throughout the year!
