My students need a document camera to project books during interactive read-alouds.

My Students

My elementary/middle school resides in the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Although many of my students struggle financially, they are the most excitable, dedicated and resilient children that I have ever worked with. Their passions include art-making, dancing, playing sports, video games, cooking and superheroes.

If you were to pop your head into any class in our school, you would see non-stop focused schoolwork and engaged learning.

Some examples include student-led book clubs, writing workshops, complex math discussions, hands-on science experiments, and political debates.

My Project

A document camera would be a huge help for our little learners.

Each day, we read-aloud a number of books.

We can use this awesome document camera to project these books for all to see. This camera will also allow students to see our modeled writing during lesson time. With the camera, they will be able to view their classmate's writing suggestions and edits. Overall, the camera will make our classroom more interactive and enhance our student's learning.

We could also use dry erase markers for our daily math and grammar lessons. Thanks for all of your help. Mr. H
