I am so grateful to work in a diverse community of learners. My students have lots of energy and do their best when they are seated in a manner tailored to their learning styles. Some do fine sitting in a traditional desk and chair but most really work to their potential when they have the option of seating to suit their individual learning needs. Flexible seating will help my students achieve their goals and have a successful school year!
My students are a mix of backgrounds and ethnicities including mainstreamed special education students.
They can all benefit from flexible seating!

My Project
Having these seating options will make a huge impact on my students' success. I teach many different children with different learning styles. Many have difficulty sitting still.
I am excited to see ALL my students have the same learning opportunities.
The floor seating, cushions and pillows will allow my students to move around while completing assignments.
One size doesn't fit all and my students shouldn't all have to sit and learn one way. It is time to reach all the different learning styles in my classroom! I am excited for this opportunity and I know my students will be just as grateful as I will be!
